Today we will get acquainted with autoscrolling, shifting and volumes in the metatrader 4 chart settings.

All of the above settings are managed in the “Graphs” menu:


Let’s start our acquaintance with the “Volumes” indicator; we are accustomed to the fact that to display trading volumes in the terminal we need to use additional indicators .

But in fact, you can just turn on “Volumes” in the chart settings, and the histogram will appear on the terminal screen:

Autoscroll – allows you to automatically move the chart following the price and time.

In most cases, you need to disable this feature since it does not allow you to look into the history of price movements. After this, you can safely move the chart to the left and analyze how the price behaved earlier.

Shifting the chart is also a rather interesting feature that not many people are aware of; it allows you to move the chart away from the right edge.
