Short-term trading. Beginner's Guide. Tony Turner
Most beginners associate stock trading with long-term transactions, during which positions are held for quite a long time.
Therefore, many people think that trading stocks requires a lot of money and that trading in the stock market will have to be done without using leverage.
In fact, there is also intraday trading here and it often brings good profits to those who choose a similar earnings strategy.
You will find confirmation of this in the book “Short-term trading.
A Beginner's Guide written by Toni Turner. The author of the book explains why, unlike Forex, long-term strategies in the stock market have already lost their relevance and gives examples of how to make money on short-duration transactions.
1. Wall Street: the greatest game on the planet - the history of the founding and formation of existing trading rules.
2. A promising start: organizing a business - here we will talk specifically about organizing the process, from planning the working day to choosing the necessary equipment.
3. The mindset of a successful businessman - as is clear from the title itself, this chapter focuses on psychology and emotions that interfere with earning money.
4. Chapters 4, 5, 6 and 7 combine the story of what it is - fundamental and technical analysis, as well as where to get the necessary information to carry them out.
5. Putting the pieces of the puzzle together - how to use the acquired theoretical knowledge in practice and a short text to check the correctness of what you have learned.
6. Technical analysis tools – we use indicators and oscillators to study the market.
7. Moment of truth, money management - trading planning, calculating the ratio of profitability and risk of transactions, setting stop orders and much more.

9. Exchange-traded funds: tools for improving the quality of trading and hedging income - what are baskets of shares for and how to make money on them.
10. Anatomy of trading - a practical example of conducting transactions, how everything actually happens.
What I liked most about the book was the presentation of the material, it was really simple and accessible, and there was also a lot of interesting information on securities trading. To be fair, it should be noted that here you will not find classic trading strategies for scalping.
