But this is, so to speak, an exceptional case. By purchasing a server with an operating system with your own money, you are protected from such situations, and if you have something to hide, then it is better to pay not so much money for confidentiality.
That is, as always, the choice is yours - a free VPS from a broker or your own from an independent provider.
