Manager Oksana Kuchura

Oksana Kuchura is one of the few representatives of the beautiful female sex, in whose hands hundreds of millions of dollars of the richest people from all over Russia are managed.

It was this fragile woman, who has no financial education at all, who created the first family office in Russia, whose activities allow large investors to preserve and increase capital.

Oksana’s success story is a real example of how luck and hard work can elevate a person to unprecedented heights, which is exactly what happened to a simple girl from Kazakhstan.

Oksana Kuchura was born in 1974 in Kazakhstan. According to Oksana herself, independence and leadership were very much encouraged in the family, and her parents always supported her endeavors, no matter what she undertook, but they forced her to complete everything.

Since childhood, starting from her school desk, Oksana Kuchura showed an increased interest in foreign languages, and especially English.

the best choice at the moment

Naturally, the parents saw how well the girl was able to master foreign languages, so they tried in every possible way to develop these qualities in the child.

After graduating from school, her love for foreign languages grew into a conscious choice of educational institution and future profession, namely Oksana wanted to become a translator.

Naturally, her parents, seeing her talent, supported her aspirations. The choice of educational institution fell on one of the most reputable universities in Kazakhstan, namely the State University of World Languages, from which she successfully graduated in 1999.

Introduction to the world of finance. First job

Oksana Kuchura began her career as a financier and manager while still a student, and in the most unexpected way. One day she was drinking coffee in one of the cafes and at the same time reading an author’s book in English.

A USAID representative was sitting at the next table. It so happened that this company was actively looking for translators and consultants who could negotiate on behalf of the company to attract investor funds to their hedge funds.

The young people exchanged a few words in English, after which Oksana was hired as a consultant on attracting foreign capital. After working for some time, Oksana realized that she only wanted to deal with finance.

After working for USAID for some time, Oksana Kuchura received an offer from a local Kazakh fund, Global Kazkommerts Securities, where she was closely involved with dealing and executing orders for their hedge fund.

After working for literally a year, Oksana received an offer from the brokerage company Regent European Securities, where she was entrusted with working with transactions with many large international hedge funds.

It is worth noting that the career ladder in this company went by leaps and bounds and by the age of 23 Oksana became the main broker in the company.

Let's start all over again. Own idea

In 1999, her husband received an excellent job offer in Moscow, so Kuchura quit her high position in Kazakhstan and moved to Russia.

At first, she had to start back from the very bottom and got a job as a consultant for Renaissance Capital, where she worked for practically pennies.

However, after not having worked for even a year, she receives an excellent offer from the Troika Dialog company, where she took a position promoting the company’s products in Russian and foreign markets.

After one of the company’s ideologists, Florian Fenner, left Troika Dialogue for UFG, he was tasked with forming a team, to which he invited Oksana as head of the sales department.

According to the recollections of Kuchura herself, she began to receive tangible success only after a year and a half of work.

After three years of work, Oksana decided to adopt the foreign experience of family companies and implement it in the vastness of Russia. However, management was very sensitive to her proposal and simply refused.

Nevertheless, Oksana puts her stake in the UFG company on the line and creates the first family office in Russia, UFG Wealth Management.

It was this desperate step that made it possible to earn huge amounts of money, and given that at that time such offices did not exist, many oligarchs and representatives of big business began to actively invest.

Today, Oksana manages more than $800 million, and her company annually receives new and new licenses, expanding the company's trading capabilities and investing in different areas of business in all corners of the world.
