After leaving his position as an extra, Victor began to study stock market literature and identified his own niche for himself. In one of his interviews, he stated that the stock and bond markets were very boring for him, so he decided to get into options, which at that time were less popular and studied from the point of view of traders and investors.

Afterwards, Victor began working in a company that offered him a piecework salary, namely half of the money he earned.

After six months of work, Sperandeo earned over $50,000, and the director with the same annual salary, instead of rewarding the employee, told him that he was being transferred to a salary of $20,000 per year.

Seeing his strength and the management’s desire to make money at his expense, Sperndeo left the company and in 1971 founded his own dealership company, Ragnar Options.

The created company very quickly conquered the market, but after some time it merged with one of the firms on Wall Street. And in 1978, Sperandeo received an excellent offer to manage the assets of Interstate Securities on equal terms. However, in 1986, the trading department was dissolved, so Victor went on his own.

After a year and a half of independent trading, Victor Sperandeo realizes that his capital is not enough, so he founded his own investment firm, Rand Management Corporation. Over 18 years of trading, the firm closed the year with a 70 percent profit, making Sperandeo a legend in the options market.
