Emigration for a trader

Nowadays, a trader’s work is in no way tied to his place of residence, because thanks to the Internet, modern stock trading allows you to open transactions anywhere.

To open transactions, it is enough to have a laptop or phone with the trading platform installed on it and an Internet connection.

Therefore, if nothing holds you back in your country and you want to find a more comfortable place of residence, all roads are open to you.

At least it seems so at first glance, but when you begin to put your plans into practice, it turns out that not everything is so simple.

And in order to find a country for a better life, it is not enough to have money; you need to have a lot of it or fulfill a number of conditions.

In theory, it seems that you have received a visa, come to the country you like and live, but in practice it turns out that a visa allows you to live like this for only a few months.

So how can a trader immigrate?

Currently, there are not many opportunities for immigration to a more or less decent country - work, emigration for wealthy citizens, emigration as an investor.

Emigration for work is the easiest option for those who go to work, but if you already earn a stable income on the stock exchange, then why else should you go to work?

At the same time, trading is not the basis for obtaining a residence permit; you need to receive a monthly salary from a company located in the country of immigration.

In practice, there are two options for solving this problem - your own company or business incubators.

• By registering your company, you get yourself a job as a director and then pay yourself a salary, based on this you first receive a business visa, and then a residence permit.

Not a very simple and quite expensive option; the cost of opening a company, depending on the country, can range from 100 to 10,000 dollars.

And monthly expenses will range from $500 to several thousand. But you can go to almost any country this way.

• Business incubators - you enter into a contract agreement with a business incubator and then your money from trading goes to the account of this company as a fee for financial services or with another wording.

Taxes and a Business Incubator commission are collected from the amount received.

Typically, such a commission ranges from $100. A simpler option, but unfortunately these companies do not exist in all countries.

Immigration for wealthy citizens - in a number of countries there is also an option where in order to obtain a residence permit you need to deposit a certain amount into an account or buy real estate.

Usually this amount ranges from 200 thousand euros or more, but there are also more attractive offers.

For example, in Austria it is enough to deposit 85,000 euros into your account. Unfortunately, such programs do not operate in all countries, and often to obtain a residence permit you need to know the language at level A1.

Emigration for an investor is an option for wealthy traders; to obtain a residence permit, you need to buy real estate in the amount of 250 thousand euros or invest funds in the amount of 1 million euros.

Depending on the country, amounts can be much higher.

Perhaps one of the simplest options if you have 250 thousand euros available, a minimum of registration, and no knowledge of the language is required.

When choosing a country, you should also not forget about the issue of taxation, since the tax rate in different countries can differ significantly.

On my own behalf, I would recommend Austria, since 85 thousand euros are enough to obtain a residence permit; knowledge of German at the A1 level will fit into the quota of the selected federal state.
