Visual Trading – try your hand!
Today, there are many different ways to test your trading skills. However, literally in 2008, the only opportunity to test one’s own strength was only a demo account or, strangely enough, real trading. Of course, on a demo account you can easily see your level of knowledge and capabilities, but, unfortunately, for this you will need to spend time at the computer for days.
Visual Trading is a unique simulator for a trader, the main task of which is to teach a trader to work in unpredictable markets with high volatility and minimal information on economic indicators.
The program automatically draws us quotes that contain various figures of technical analysis, as well as news that appears suddenly and entails unpredictable price jumps. Installing the program will not take more than two minutes, since after downloading and launching it is immediately ready for use.
After launching Visual Trading, a window with valuables will appear in front of you, as well as a panel for concluding transactions.
To start the simulator, click on the New Game button. Visual Trading will begin to generate random movement, and the program is not intended to work against you, and all quotes are drawn based on technical analysis. The program is made on the principle of turn-based games, namely, in order for the quotes to move in the “Finish move” module, you need to click on the line for which period the program should draw quotes forward.
By default, trading is carried out on a daily chart, so you can scroll through quotes for a day, five days and ten days. In the “Operations” module, you can either buy an asset or sell it, and, on the contrary, from each button you can specify your lot, using various money management options including martingale . By looking at the “Account Status” module, you can see the volume of open positions, balance and the overall result of work in the program.
A special feature of the program is that the price is generated randomly without reference to any currency pair.
Here is simply a price that responds to various news indicators, be it a drop in oil or Russia's victory in the football championship. Of course, you won’t be able to learn how to trade profitably using a simulator, but you can always test your basic level of knowledge of technical analysis and your strengths in an unpredictable market.
