Eric Nyman, trader and author of popular books about the stock exchange
Eric Naiman is the author of one of the most popular books in the field of investing and stock trading, namely, " The Small Encyclopedia of a Trader ."

This book captivates people not because of his writing talent, which Naiman undoubtedly possesses, but because of its practical, useful information, as its author is a practicing trader and fund manager at Capital Times, a major financial company.
Eric Naiman and his success story are particularly relatable to traders from Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus, as it was here that Naiman gained authority and made a name for himself.
The financier was born in 1969 in the Russian city of Novosibirsk. As for his family, it had to endure a very difficult migration before Naiman was born.
Eric's grandfather was a pure-blooded German who moved to Ukraine with his family in 1930 to find self-employment and support his family.
Memories from Eric Nayman's childhood are virtually impossible to find, but it is known that at a young age he showed a particular love for numbers. Most interestingly, Eric chose trading as a profession at the age of 12.
Initial information about the exchange
One day, while rereading a newspaper, he came across a biography and success story of a woman from the stock market (most likely Linda Raschke), which really captivated the young man and made him seek out all possible sources of information about the stock market from an early age.
After graduating from high school, Eric confidently enrolled in the economics department at Novosibirsk University. At the same time, Eric Nayman chose his future career path in the stock market, actively studying the foreign exchange market and macroeconomics, as well as the stock market, conducting his first analysis of various domestic company reports.
By the end of his fifth year, university professors noticed the student's special talent and helped him open his first stock exchange, called "Spread," which traded vouchers.
Unfortunately, Eric wasn't all that good at this type of entrepreneurial activity, and his attitude towards it was becoming increasingly negative.
After Naiman graduated from the academy with honors, he quickly found a job as a foreign trade manager at one of Novosibirsk's largest financial firms.
The beginning of a career
It was this position that helped him acquire practical skills in currency trading, and in the early 1990s, he became a major player on the Novosibirsk exchange.
In 1997, Eric Naiman received an excellent offer to become a financial analyst at Alfa Capital, which he naturally could not refuse.
Since this company is a subsidiary of Alfa-Bank, Eric gained enormous opportunities to manage investors' capital, specifically accessing funds from private pension and insurance funds. He continued his management activities until 1998.
The experience he gained in real trading allowed him to move up the career ladder, so from 1998 to 2001 he became the manager of the Polar-Invest fund, and in 2001 he became the executive director of the Kyiv interregional company.
From 2002 to 2011, Eric Nayman headed Ukrostsbank. After leaving the bank, he continued his career at Capital Times.
Unpleasant moments of biography
It's worth noting that Naiman also has a dark side to his record. For example, Capital Times, along with Naiman, was implicated in a fraudulent privatization of the State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine.
Because the company acted as a consultant, the criminal case fell apart. Also in early 2014, he was hired by Mill Trade, which three months later froze clients' accounts and was acquired by the giant MMSIS.
Unfortunately, MMSIS turned out to be a typical pyramid scheme, so many investors and traders are still involved in legal proceedings to this day in the hope of getting their deposits back.
Today, Eric Naiman actively teaches at the Kyiv Business School and travels throughout Ukraine giving seminars.
