ZULUTRADE – punishment for indecision.

Greetings, dear visitors. Today I'd like to share another report with you and discuss a simple mistake I personally encountered. Remember in my previous article, "ZULUTRADE – THE FIRST TIME IS A LUMP," where I shared my first failure with you and how a single manager's mistake can completely upend the overall picture.

So, based on the results of the previous article, we came to the conclusion that it is necessary to remove a couple of managers because they use martingale, creating high risks with low profits.

I then concluded that the manager had simply entered a drawdown and, as was his wont for the past six months, would undoubtedly recover. And that was my mistake. I had broken all the rules of investing, gotten greedy, and hoped that, as always, everything would pass me by.

In the first few days after writing the article, the trader had indeed begun to recover from the decline, little by little, but then there was a sharp upward movement in the EUR/USD pair, driven by the collapse of the Chinese market and, subsequently, the US market. The euro gained 600 points in just two days, while the dollar suffered such a rapid decline that it was recorded as one of the fastest since 2009.

So, following this move, I already knew the situation on my account was clearly not going to work out in my favor. And when I logged into my Zulu account, I saw this:

As it turned out, the capital protection from Zulu was triggered, as the trader TraderVic exceeded the allowed drawdown and simply swept away the accounts of hundreds of subscribers. Because of the protection triggered and his simply terrible actions, $700 in capital was lost, and this was in just one day. Although, why blame him? It was my mistake, I had high hopes and expectations from him, even though I could have easily cut off the risks at the outset.

The second trader, nicknamed Pminvestcap, also fared poorly. However, unlike the previous character, he was smart enough to cut all positions and secure a $100 loss. You can see his profitability chart in the image below:

The only trader who actually uses a trading strategy without risky money management methods was MWTechTransilvania. As in the previous article, there are only positive reviews about his work, as he earned me $120 during this period, without taxing my deposit like the others. His profitability chart is shown in the image below:

You can see the overall situation for all managers and their capital status in the image below:

In conclusion, I'd like to summarize that during the testing period, thanks to two unprofitable managers, my loss amounted to $834. This result makes me take a more responsible approach to selecting managers, so my first goal is to try to find managers like MWTechTransilvania.

I also admit my mistake and recommend that you never doubt yourself and remove managers without waiting for bad news like I did. Thank you for your attention, and good luck!
