A script that helps you place an order when the market is closed

Sometimes in life there are situations when you need to place an order, but the market is closed at that time.

Therefore, when you try to open a new deal in the trading platform, you receive a refusal and a message that trading is not currently taking place.

It is logical to place a shortcut order after the start of a new trading session, but, firstly, this is not entirely convenient since Forex sessions after the weekend begin at night, and secondly, this is not always possible.

What to do in such a situation?

The answer is quite simple - use a special script that allows you to schedule the opening of a time-delayed order. The tool is quite simple, so it will not be difficult for any trader to understand its basic settings.

And so, a script called “pending order exhibited by hand” - Pending order placed manually.

After you have downloaded the file itself at the end of the article, we copy it to the “Scripts” directory of your trading platform. We restart the program and the pending order is exhibited by hand from the scripts section on the chart of the selected asset.

In this case, set the necessary settings:

• Trading operation - purchase or sale, set the direction of the planned transaction
• Lot – order volume
• Stop loss and take profit - parameters of stop orders will always be useful
• Trawl length – the size of the trailing stop if you want to use it
• Minimum profit of the trawl – trailing stop
• The start of the advisor's work is the time when the script will work, check the time in your trading platform and how much it coincides with the start time of the market opening.

When set to zero, stop orders will be disabled. If the market opened with a gap, then the transaction will be opened at the first available quote.

After adding to the chart, you will see the following message in its upper right corner:

Then you just have to wait for the set time to arrive and open the order.

I have not tested whether the script for opening an order will work when the trading platform is turned off, so check this feature yourself.

The tool can also be used to simply open trades at a specific time, but only at the beginning of trading.
