Scalping - an entry point for a successful strategy
Scalping is one of the most controversial strategies in Forex. Most traders simply don't understand how to find an entry point on
M1 or M5.
On such short-term trends, it's quite difficult to understand the trend's direction and catch its early stages, but scalping isn't always based on trend trading.
Scalping and pipsing rely partly on intuition and partly on trend patterns that can be identified over short timeframes.
So how do you determine an entry point when scalping?
The main rule of pipsing and scalping is not to open transactions randomly, try to build at least a semblance of a trading system, only in this case you will be able to make money using these risky strategies.
• Price channel - it can be built not only on D1, but even on M1, of course, the trend does not always allow you to build a successful price channel, but it is not at all necessary to stop at one currency pair. You can always choose an instrument by which the price will form the correct price channel even on M1.
• Use indicators for scalping - some of them show themselves quite well even on short time intervals, it is clear that before using them on a real account, you should first experiment on demo accounts.
• Catch the impulse - very often the price moves with an enviable pattern, you can try to catch this movement, it is best to use a cent account with the same broker for these purposes.
We open a minimal trade and begin to observe the financial results. Typically, in such cases, the price moves a few points in the direction of the trend, then pulls back slightly. In this case, you can only take a couple of points, so this tactic is more suitable for scalping.
Every trader has their own entry points when scalping, but I've listed the ones I used for a while to boost my deposit.
Another possible entry point for scalping is a signal generated by a scalping advisor. Using such an advisor for independent trading is quite risky, but installing a demo version and then copying its signals is entirely possible. This will make trading safer and more controllable.
