Interest on forex deposits.
Most Forex traders don't pay attention to such a trivial detail as deposit interest, or more precisely, interest on
available funds not used in foreign exchange market transactions.
Almost all brokers offer their clients such a bonus, and the accrual amount is significantly higher than that offered by banks. Typically, the interest rate ranges from 10 to 15% per annum, depending on the broker.
While this may seem like a small profit for scalpers, there are plenty of other strategies that earn just a few percent per month, and additional accruals can significantly increase your earnings.
However, there is one caveat: as a rule, you can't simply deposit funds into a trader's account and receive interest; you must actually trade. This means you must open at least a couple of orders per month.
The minimum trade size may also be regulated, but this isn't really a problem, as if you deposit a large amount and don't see much point in investing anything else, you can trade with virtually no leverage, meaning the risk of exchange rate losses is minimal.
This investment option can be illustrated with a specific example: you open an account and deposit $1,000. The terms require you to open at least two trades per month with a minimum volume of 0.1 lots.
This means we'll need 1:10 leverage, open a trade of $10,000, and one pip will be worth $1. The minimum trade maintenance period is 7-10 minutes.
During this time, rarely does a pair move more than a few pips, plus the spread, meaning opening a trade will cost you a couple of dollars, especially since not all trades will be unprofitable. The interest income will definitely offset any losses.
This is assuming you're not just trading for fun. If trading is your primary occupation, interest on available funds will be an additional bonus.
InstaForex and RoboForex offer the highest interest rates on deposits .
If you don't want to get involved with trading, it's better to choose another investment option , which typically offers interest rates around 20-30% per annum.
