Installing the Laguerre advisor

In order to use the options advisor, it must be installed in the MT4 trading platform. You can download the trading platform itself from one of the brokers offered in the list of Forex brokers . After installing MT4, you need to install our advisor, which you can download at the end of the article.

To do this, enter the terminal data directory and place the advisor in the experts folder, the indicators in the indicators folder, and also do not forget to drop the file from the include folder into a folder with the corresponding name in the data directory of your MT4. After installation, open the same currency pair for which you will open an option and drag the advisor onto the chart:

Expert settings

This options advisor is based on a simple indicator trading strategy, which consists of three indicators, namely: Laguerre, LaguerreMA, Williams Percent Range. A nice feature of the EA is that it does not contain any martingale or other risky money management models.  

According to the settings, two main blocks can be distinguished, namely: “Signal settings” and “News filter”. In the “Signal Settings” block you can change the parameters of the three indicators listed above. In the “News Filter” block, you can prohibit the advisor from trading if news comes out within an hour.

By the way, the advisor has a built-in news indicator, which itself filters out news and allows you to bypass unfavorable markets.

For example, while writing this article, the advisor opened a sell position on the euro/dollar currency pair.

The next step we must take is to enter the options broker’s to buy a downside option on the euro/dollar currency pair according to the advisor’s signal.
