How to buy Revolut shares for profit and dividends
Most potential investors dream of receiving profits from their investments in the form of stock dividends.
That's why investing in company shares is the most popular type of investment today, but the complexity of the process of buying shares can sometimes be an obstacle for beginners.
To make the stock market more accessible to ordinary investors, Revolut Bank has launched trading in securities such as company shares, government bonds, and corporate bonds.
Currently, over 6,500 stocks are available for purchase in the bank's app, and this number is growing daily. These securities come from regions such as the US, Europe, and Asia.
The investment process itself takes just a few clicks, as shown in the image:
- On the main page of the Revolut mobile app, select "Investments"
- In the "Investments" section, select "Stocks"
- In the "Promotions" section, select a company to purchase
- On the company page, click “Buy” and then enter the number of shares
You can buy both whole and fractional shares. For example, if a share is priced at $1,250, enter $125 and buy 0.1 share. This allows you to start investing with as little as $1.
How to choose the best stocks to invest in Revolut?
If you don't know in advance which security to buy, the "Stocks" section offers a tool such as an advanced search or screener.
The tool helps you filter stocks by economic sector, market capitalization, dividend yield, and earnings-to-price ratio.
This means, without having any special investment knowledge, you can select the most profitable companies from a specific economic sector – healthcare, technology, finance, etc.
For myself, I chose the following companies from those available in Revolut: Svenska Handelsbanken, Ares Capital, Golden Ocean, Verizon, Applied Material, Franklin Resources, Pfizer , Nordea Bank, SIGA Tech .
Most of the companies listed pay good dividends and have stable financial positions.
With Revolut, you can make long-term investments in company shares or other securities, as long as the bank is available in your country:
Poland, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Luxembourg, Ireland, Malta, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan, Brazil, Mexico.
At the same time, stock market brokers , as high commissions make short-term trading with Revolut unprofitable.
