Beat Wall Street. Book by Peter Lynch.
There are plenty of books written by unsuccessful traders or even trading theorists, and while they can certainly
provide useful information, truly invaluable experience comes from books written by true professionals. "
Beating Wall Street" was written by the manager of one of the largest hedge funds, thanks to whom the fund's capital grew more than 700-fold, from $18 million to $14 billion.
Naturally, someone who has achieved such results has much to share with readers. The book focuses on stock market trading, but the basic recommendations it offers can also be applied to the Forex market.
The sections are broadly divided into the following:
1. The first part introduces you to the history of the Magellan fund. It uses a specific example to illustrate how the fund operates and describes the principles of creating investment portfolios that allow you to generate stable profits despite financial upheavals.
2. The second part explains almost entirely how to find the most promising and profitable options among a sea of options, and lays out the basics of analyzing the real value of securities. You will also learn how to analyze the data presented in the financial statements of companies in various industries.
3. An investment portfolio audit – why it is necessary and why it should be performed at least every six months.
You can download the book from one of the online stores.
