Technical analysis, complete course (Jack D. Schwager).
It might seem difficult to add anything to the technical analysis arsenal, with so many books and articles written on the topic. However, each
author uses their own approach to market research, and sometimes even after you think you know everything, the next textbook reveals new insights.
Technical Analysis by Jack Schwager, while covering fundamental topics, is more suitable for traders with some trading experience. The entire book is based on practical examples and written in an accessible language.
The first part of the textbook is devoted to the purely technical side of the topic, describing the theory of technical analysis—the types of charts used for it, trends and trading ranges, support and resistance lines , and channel construction using them. A description of graphical and candlestick analysis is also included.
The second part is called "Practical Analysis," which describes the practical application of the theoretical knowledge gained in the first part. It examines the specific reasons why a trader opens and closes trades, and provides examples of various trading systems used to find market entry points.
