Ripple forecast for 2021, what awaits this popular cryptocurrency in the near future
Ripple is one of the cryptocurrencies with the highest capitalization, at the moment the capitalization reaches 27 billion dollars.
At one time, this cryptocurrency was called an alternative to Bitcoin and a price of $1,000 was predicted for 1 Ripple.
A couple of years ago, the asset managed to reach its peak price of more than $3, but after a large sale of most of the coins by one of the creators of Ripple, its price dropped significantly.
For a long time, the coin was trading at around 30 cents per unit, and after the recent rise in price of Bitcoin, it also rapidly went up and reached 70 cents.
Now the price of Ripple is moving in a fairly wide range between 50 and 65 cents per coin, while there is some uncertainty in the market.
What will the Ripple price be in 2021?
This is currently the main question troubling investors trying to make money in cryptocurrency trading. Everyone has their own opinion on the matter. Personally
, I'm leaning more toward a significant drop in Ripple's price in 2021, and there are several objective reasons for this.
The first is that the cryptocurrency has already exhausted its momentum and reached its all-time high. If Bitcoin begins to pull back, Ripple will also fall to its previous level of 30 cents, and possibly even lower.
The second is the distribution of Spark cryptocurrency to Ripple holders, creating the impression that the creators of Ripple, which has lost credibility, want to transfer assets to a new virtual currency. Most analysts predict that the downtrend will begin on December 12, 2020, after the exchange.
The third reason is the unhealthy news surrounding Ripple, which only stimulates the number of sell-offs.
What should I do?
I've already sold most of my Ripple holdings and invested some in Stellar and some in other assets. I've left a small reserve, so to speak, just in case the coin starts to appreciate contrary to forecasts.
In my opinion, there's no point in expecting anything good from Ripple in 2021, much less investing in it at the current rate, but that's just my personal opinion.
