ForteFX Advisor
ForteFX Advisor is a unique development from 2014, which is based on a special position hedging algorithm. The advisor enters a position based on a trend trading strategy, which in turn is built on unique indicators created by the developer.
This algorithm is fully automatic, so it is ready to consistently generate profits without any intervention from the trader.
This expert uses the well-known risky money management method such as martingale when trading. However, the developers did not stop at the classic martingale, but made a special modification.
The essence of this method is that when opening a losing position, the expert does not open a double lot, but increases it by a certain unit, increasing the series.
For example, the advisor opens with a lot of 0.01, then if the price does not go in our direction, the advisor, after a given number of points, opens a lot of 0.02..0.03..and so on increasing by 0.01 units. This approach allows the expert to average a position without resorting to large risks. The advisor also has the ability to enable classic martingales using a multiplication factor.
The essence of hedging in this EA is that when the martingale is triggered, the EA opens an order in the opposite direction, thus squeezing out profits if the market moves against us. A significant advantage of this robot is that it uses a multi-currency trading strategy, which allows the expert to work on any currency pair. However, I do not recommend investing in a currency with a large spread.
To install the expert, download it at the end of the article. Through an open terminal, in the file tab, open the data directory. Place the indicators in the indicators folder and the advisor in the expert folder. Very important! ForteFX will not work without indicators! After restarting the terminal, find it in the list and drag it to the screen with the currency pair. Allow the robot to trade.
The authors of this algorithm tried to make the settings outside as much as possible. The Target Profit line is responsible for profit in dollars (not in points). The advisor also contains blocks with settings for custom indicators. I don’t recommend changing anything if you don’t have enough experience. The lot size function is responsible for the lot with which the initial position will be opened. In the money management , you have the opportunity to choose the type of martingale.
To do this, in the martingale line, write 1 if you want the lot to increase gradually, 2 if you want the advisor to build a grid of orders using the lot that you specify in the lot size setting, 3 to use the multiplication coefficient of the next lot. You can set the multiplication factor in the exponential factor line.
I decided to conduct several tests on different currency pairs. The test was carried out on the euro/dollar, pound/dollar, euro/Swiss franc pairs. The test period is from January 1, 2015 to May 21, 2015. The time frame was chosen to be five minutes. You can see the test results in the screenshot:
I also decided to try a test on the euro/dollar pair with a change in the martingale type. I ran a test with a standard martingale with a coefficient of 2. The result is shown in the picture below:
Based on the test results, I can say with confidence that the ForteFX advisor is profitable and will not require a large deposit for initial trading. True, there is no need to talk about record profitability; with standard settings, the adviser was never able to overcome the mark of 10% profit in 5 months. You can try the robot on a price account with 50 dollars in your pocket; the recommended brokers are Roboforex or Amarkets . Thanks for your attention, good luck!
