ForteFX Advisor
The ForteFX advisor is a unique 2014 development based on a proprietary position hedging algorithm. The advisor enters
a position using a trend-following trading strategy, which in turn is based on unique indicators created by the developer.
This algorithm is fully automated, so it is ready to consistently generate profits without any intervention from the trader.
This expert advisor uses the well-known, risky capital management method of martingale in its trading. However, the developers didn't stop at the classic martingale; they created a unique modification.
The essence of this method is that when opening a losing position, the expert does not open a double lot, but increases it by a certain unit, increasing the series.
For example, the advisor opens a lot of 0.01. If the price moves against us, the advisor opens a lot of 0.02, 0.03, and so on, increasing by 0.01 units, after a specified number of points. This approach allows the expert advisor to average out the position without taking on significant risks. The advisor also offers the option to enable classic martingale strategies using a multiplier.
hedging principle in this advisor is that when the martingale triggers, the expert opens an order in the opposite direction, thereby squeezing out profits if the market moves against us. A significant advantage of this robot is that it uses a multi-currency trading strategy, allowing the expert advisor to trade any currency pair. However, I don't recommend trading currencies with wide spreads.
To install the expert advisor, download it at the end of the article. Open the terminal and open the data folder in the "File" tab. Place the indicators in the "Indicators" folder, and the expert advisor in the "Expert" folder. Important! ForteFX will not work without the indicators! After restarting the terminal, find it in the list and drag it to the currency pair screen. Allow the robot to trade.
The authors of this algorithm have made every effort to externalize the settings as much as possible. The Target Profit line controls profit in dollars (not in points). The advisor also includes blocks with custom indicator settings. I don't recommend changing anything unless you have sufficient experience. The lot size function controls the lot size used to open the initial position. In the money management , you can select the martingale type.
To do this, enter 1 in the martingale line if you want the lot to increase gradually, 2 if you want the EA to build a grid of orders with the lot size you specify in the lot size setting, and 3 to use the multiplication factor for the next lot. You can specify the multiplication factor in the exponential factor line.
I decided to run several tests on different currency pairs. The tests were conducted on the EUR/USD, GBP/USD, and EUR/CHF pairs. The testing period was from January 1, 2015, to May 21, 2015. The time frame was set to five minutes. You can see the test results in the screenshot:

I also decided to try testing the EUR/USD pair with a different martingale type. I ran the test with a standard martingale with a coefficient of 2. The result is shown in the image below:
Based on my testing results, I can confidently say that the ForteFX EA is profitable and requires a small deposit for initial trading. However, I can't claim record profitability either; with the default settings, the EA failed to exceed 10% profitability in five months. You can try the robot on a trading account with $50. Recommended brokers are RoboForex or Amarkets . Thank you for your attention, and good luck!
