The Progressor Expert Advisor is a unique development by Russian traders, featuring a profitable algorithm
that allows traders to profit on complete autopilot. This expert advisor is fully automated, so even a beginner won't experience any discomfort due to a lack of specific skills.
This expert has undergone a long process of modification, so the archive will contain several versions of the expert, as they all have a right to exist.
Unlike the previous version, this expert advisor is designed for trading the EUR/USD and EUR/SWISS franc currency pairs. It operates on a five-minute chart.
To work with the Expert Advisor, you need to install it in your trading terminal. To do this, download the Expert Advisor file at the end of this article and unzip it. Open the data folder in your trading terminal using the File tab. Place the Expert Advisor itself in the "Expert" folder, and the library in the "Libraries" folder.
After restarting the trading terminal, go to the list of Expert Advisors and drag it onto the EUR/USD currency pair on the five-minute chart. To trade on a real account, enter the developer key in the key field in the settings that appear. This key is generated using the following formula: your account number * 2 + 1000001. For example, if your account number is 12345, the password would be 12345 * 2 + 1000001 = 10244691. For some versions of this Expert Advisor, the key is also calculated as follows: account number + 2.
The expert's main feature is the use of a properly configured martingale and hedging strategy when averaging is triggered. The settings are varied, but almost all of them are responsible for setting up money management .
The Lot line controls the initial lot size the EA opens. The Distance line controls position averaging and indicates how many points it takes for the next order with a higher lot size to open.
In the Level line you can change the maximum number of open orders.
In the Multiplier line, you can change the multiplier in the event of a losing position. In the Hedge line, you can enable position hedging if your position goes the wrong way.
In the Hedge Start line, you can specify from which order on the account hedging will begin.
The advisor also includes a number of settings to protect your account from untrustworthy brokers. To do this, change the Invisible mode to True, and the broker won't be able to see your stop orders and profits.
I decided to run the first test on the EUR/USD currency pair using the default settings. The test period was from January 1, 2015, to May 21, 2015. The time frame was five minutes. The test results are shown in the image below:
