James Gorman is the best financial advisor

Very often, many bibliographers ignore success stories in the financial market that are not associated with the creation of their own companies and billion-dollar fortunes.

However, in our time, when the profession of trader and manager no longer evokes so many controversial emotions, a good manager is simply worth his weight in gold for huge corporations.

Many of the greatest managers never had their own hedge funds, yet their fees were so large that any major entrepreneur would envy them.

Moreover, working for the world's largest corporations, a person receives no less income, and this despite the fact that there is no risk of losing one's own capital, barring force majeure circumstances. Influence, fame, money – all this can be achieved without having your own hedge fund, and the most striking example of a careerist who entered the top 50 most influential people in the world is James Gorman.

There's virtually no information available about James Gorman's early life and childhood, only the bare dates and place of his birth. James was born on July 14, 1958, in Melbourne, Australia.

From childhood, he showed a great desire to study, so his parents enrolled James in Xavier College, an all-boys school (a religious school).

Graduating from such an institution allowed him to continue his education, so after graduating from college, James entered the University of Melbourne.

James combined two truly extraordinary personalities: a profound passion for art and a practical mind. That's why, upon graduating from university, he earned two degrees: a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws.

James Gorman enjoyed great authority among both faculty and students, and was therefore recognized as the president of the student body during his studies.

After working there for some time and earning his first capital, he gets a chance to escape Australia and move to the United States to receive additional education.

So, after moving to the States, he entered Columbia University and received a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia Business School.

After graduating from Columbia, his first job was with the consulting firm McKinsey & Company, where he took a consultant position.

His career progressed at a fairly rapid pace within the company, and after some time, James Gorman achieved the status of Senior Financial Partner and began actively consulting with financial services around the world.

Naturally, the manager's talents could not go unnoticed, so he received an offer to head the company's main division in the USA, which is what he actually did, leading the company from 2001 to 2005.

At the age of 49 in 2006, James received a tempting offer from Morgan Stanley to become one of the firm's leaders and participate in its strategic planning.

After just one year with the company, he was promoted to president in 2007, becoming responsible for asset management. In 2010, James became the company's CEO, and two years later, in 2012, he became its chairman.
