The Dynamic Pro Scalper trading expert is based on a scalping strategy and trades in the evening. I'm sure many have noticed that
night scalping has become increasingly popular recently. This is because during this time, after the end of the American trading session, the market becomes calmer and more predictable.
This market situation is very convenient for this type of advisor, so every year new experts appear who exploit this pattern in Forex.
To get started, you need to install the Expert Advisor in your trading terminal. Download the archive containing the Expert Advisor at the end of this article and place it in the "expert" folder in your terminal's data directory. Then, restart the terminal and drag the Expert Advisor from the list onto the screen.
The Expert Advisor is designed to work on nine major currency pairs. The preferred currency pairs are EUR/USD and GBP/USD. The working time frame is a 15-minute chart. The Expert Advisor can work on other time frames, but it will require some reconfiguration.

In the Auto Risk line, you can set the risk percentage per position. You can also use a standard lot; to do this, enter the desired lot in the Lots line, but the Auto Risk line must be empty. In the Slipage line, you can set the maximum price slippage at which the EA can open a position.
The opening and closing times of trades are also important in the EA settings. When the Auto GMT setting is enabled, the EA will automatically determine and adjust to the time zone. In the Start Trade Hour field, you can set the EA's opening time, and in the End Trade Hour field, you can specify the end time. Another very important parameter is Min Volatility, which the EA uses to measure the strength of market movements.
I decided to conduct an initial test of the EA on the EUR/USD currency pair. The period was from January 1, 2015, to May 13, 2015. I left the EA's default settings, so I didn't expect a positive result. All scalpers need regular optimization, and this one has been doing so since 2013. The results are shown in the image:
With the initial settings, the Expert Advisor failed to lose any profits. So, I decided to optimize it. The parameters I optimized included Channel, Profit, and Stop Loss. The optimization period ran from September 1, 2014, to December 31, 2014. The most optimal result was selected and a forward test was conducted between January 1, 2015, and May 13, 2015. The preliminary test results are shown in the image below:
Many claim that the era of night scalpers in Forex is over because the market has changed dramatically. But as you can see, with a little parameter optimization, the EA is ready for action. While the results are certainly weak for a scalper, there's hope that careful tuning will improve the script's efficiency.
