Advisor Lucky 2.4

The Lucky 2.4 advisor uses a highly effective scalping strategy, so the advisor can rightfully be considered a scalper.advisor huskies The robot was created back in 2006 to trade on currency pairs such as euro/dollar, pound/dollar.

The working time frame is considered to be M5, but the advisor can work on other time frames.

To work with the advisor, you need to install it in your terminal. To do this, download the archive with the advisor at the end of the article. In an open terminal, use the file menu to enter the data directory. Place the advisor in a folder called expert.

After restarting the terminal, the advisor should appear in the list. Next, just drag the advisor onto the chart of the currency pair with the M5 time frame and allow it to trade.

The advisor has very fine settings that greatly influence trading results. For example, the CCIPeriod parameter is responsible for the CCI indicator parameter, which in turn is responsible for determining the entry point. The MAPeriod parameter is responsible for the moving average parameter, which also affects the trading result of the advisor. These two parameters are considered basic, and they need to be optimized before working on a real account.

The advisor uses three different types of capital management. For example, if you set 3 in the DefineLotMethod line in the settings, the advisor will use a 2-fold increase in the lot in case of a losing position. Simply put, you will enable a martingale with stops. If you put 0 in the line, then the adviser will work with a fixed lot, which you set in the MM_Lots line.

If you specify DefineLotMethod 2 in the line, then the advisor will use the progressive method, which is calculated according to the formula 0.1 lot for every MM_Delta of funds from the free margin. If you set 1, the advisor will calculate the lot depending on the risk percentage that you set in the MM_Risk line. In the SYMBOL line you must indicate the currency pair on which the advisor will work. In the PERIOD line you must specify the time frame in minutes on which the advisor will work.

When testing the robot, it turned out that it took a long time to pass the test. To save time, I decided to test the advisor for one month from January 1, 2015 to February 1, 2015 on the euro/dollar currency pair on the m5 time frame. Of course, you can argue that this period is not enough, but in my experience, all scalpers need to be reconfigured once a month and sometimes more often. I will conduct the test in different modes. First, I tested the advisor using Martingale. The result is shown in the picture:

Next, I decided to change the DefineLotMethod parameter to 2, enabling the progressive method for calculating the initial lot. The result is shown in the picture:

Afterwards I decided to conduct a test using a fixed lot. To do this, I changed the DefineLotMethod settings to 0. The result was a little worse, but not negative. The test result is shown in the picture below:

The choice of money management is up to you and the tasks you assign to the advisor. I also noticed that the test results for different brokers are slightly different. This is due to the quality of the trading conditions provided. Therefore, before working with the advisor, I recommend testing it on cent accounts with various brokers. Thank you for your attention, follow the trend)
