Scalping advisor Aladdin 9.1
Advisor Aladdin is one of the oldest representatives of advisors, who was created almost simultaneously with such an expert as Cheetah. Every year new versions of advisors are released, and I would like to note that all versions are radically different from each other. So, having downloaded any version of the expert, you are faced with a unique robot, and not with a regular modification.
Version 9.1 of the Expert Advisor turned out to be the most scandalous, as the creators were accused of plagiarism, claiming that the Expert Advisor was a remake of Integra. I never saw any clear evidence, so I decided to do an expert review.
Before working, the scalping advisor should be installed in the Meta Trader 4 terminal. To begin, download the advisor at the end of the article and place it through the data directory in a folder called expert. After restarting the terminal, the advisor will appear in the list of experts and to work, just drag it onto the screen and enable the command allow trading.
The Expert Advisor is created for trading on any currency pair, since it uses a multi-currency trading strategy.
The expert can trade both on a minute chart and on a half-hour chart. The advisor uses a simple scalping strategy based on the CCI and moving average indicators as a filter.
Setting up the scalping advisor Aladdin.
In case of a losing position, the expert doubles the lot, thus averaging the losses, so that the output is a regular martingale. Most of the settings are intuitive (especially for those who have encountered martingales), but I will still describe some of them.
In the EA, in the Risk line, you can set the risk percentage for the first position that the EA will open. In the DefaultLot Line you can specify the initial lot, but the Risk line must contain zero. As with any martingale, you can change the distance between orders, as well as the lot multiplier. To do this, in the PipStep line you can set the required number of points between orders, and in the LotExponent line you can set the multiplication factor. You can also limit the maximum lot with which the advisor will open. To do this, set the maximum lot in the MaxLot line. For example, in the MaxTrades line you can set the maximum number of simultaneously open orders. The advisor has a deposit drawdown limitation function.
The EA has a time filter. For example, in the StartHourMonday line you can set what time the EA will start trading on Monday, and in the EndHourFriday line you can set the time the EA will end on Friday. I will attach all the settings and rules for optimizing the advisor at the end of the article with the advisor itself.
To begin with, I decided to do a test on the euro/dollar pair over the past five months. The time frame I chose was m5. I left the settings as default. You can see the result in the picture below:
Of course, the curved line is not exactly from corner to corner, but considering that the advisor uses outdated settings, the result is quite acceptable. Another advantage of this advisor is that when you purchase an official license, the cost of the advisor will be credited to your account from the InstaForex broker and you lose practically nothing. Thank you for your attention and good luck with the trend, gentlemen)
