The Statistics Advisor is an auxiliary trading expert that displays statistical data on trading on a specific account for a specified period.
It is worth noting that, unlike other similar statistical assistants, the Statistics advisor separates transactions opened manually and by advisors, and also shows detailed information on profitability for each advisor and currency pair separately.
The Statistics advisor does not open orders, but only displays the trader's trading statistics for all instruments on the working chart, so you can use the expert on absolutely any currency pair or time frame, the only thing you need is a black chart background.
Installing the Statistics Advisor
The Statistics Advisor is a custom Expert Advisor that was created specifically to collect statistical data from an account for the MT4 trading platform.
That is why, in order to use the Expert Advisor, you need to download the Expert Advisor files at the end of the article, and then install them directly into your trading platform.
The installation process for the Statistics advisor is no different from installing any other expert, namely, you will need to dump the downloaded expert files into the appropriate folder in the terminal data directory.
To access the data catalog, launch your trading terminal and go to the “File” menu in the upper left corner. Then, next you need to find and run the line called “Open data directory” from the list of options that appears.
After the terminal data directory is launched, a list of platform system folders will be displayed on the monitor screen, among which you will need to find a folder called Expert and dump the previously downloaded Statistics advisor files into it.
In order for the trading terminal to be able to see the installed expert, it must be updated in the navigator panel or restarted. After restarting, Statistics will appear in the list of advisors, and in order to see account statistics, just drag the name of the expert onto the chart. After plotting the advisor on the chart, you will see the following table:

After plotting the Statistics advisor on the chart, it is very important to enter the expert password in the settings. The password is your trading account number, after which the robot is activated.
To obtain all statistics or for a certain period, you need to go to the “History” tab in the “Terminal” panel, and then set the required time interval.
After selecting a history, the advisor will generate a statistical table, and in the very first left column you can see the type of trading (manual or advisor), currency pair for which the transaction was opened, as well as the name of the comment advisor.
Using the table generated by the advisor, you can see data on the number of profitable and unprofitable transactions for a certain currency pair and a specific advisor, the number of transactions with profit and loss made by the advisor or opened manually.
The table also contains data on the number of positive and negative profit points for each instrument, profit and loss in the deposit currency and as a percentage, the mathematical expectation of each transaction, as well as continuous profit or loss from the deposit.
Advisor settings
All settings of the Statistics expert are written in Russian and allow you to enable or disable certain information modules, as well as influence the collection of the necessary trader statistics.
In addition to the obvious parameters with disabling or enabling certain data, you can use line S_14 to enable or disable the collection of statistics on transactions whose profit is less spread size, and also exclude the collection of statistics for certain experts by setting their Magic numbers in lines MG 1,2,3,4.
