Advisor Cleaner – a preliminary test is not a death sentence!
I am glad to welcome you to the pages of our website. Today, by tradition, I would like to introduce you to the results of testing the Cleaner expert. Previously, I reviewed this expert, and as it turned out, the advisor was foreign-made and created in 2011.
It did not contain any dangerous trading methods such as martingale or grid, so many traders gave the developers only good reviews. However, during the review and preliminary tests, it was revealed that all the advisor settings were simply closed and the result of the preliminary test in the strategy tester was, to put it mildly, bad.
By the way, you can see the result of the advisor's preliminary test in the image below:

Based on the preliminary test results, I honestly had no desire to do another test on a demo account. However, the number of positive reviews about the advisor simply compelled me to test it on a demo account, and it turned out to be worth it.
If you regularly follow this section, you probably already know that to ensure the reliability of the test, we rent a VPS server on a permanent basis, so you don't have to worry about interference or connection interruptions. We also opened a demo account simulating $100 on a cent account, which is equivalent to $10,000.
Because the software developers closed access to all settings, we had to test the expert advisor with the default settings. According to the instructions, the advisor was placed on a 30-minute EUR/USD chart. Testing began on August 30, 2015, and ended on September 10, 2015.

As you can see, the charts from the preliminary test and the demo account testing are completely different. To be honest, this is the first time I've encountered a clearly unprofitable advisor in the strategy tester that turns out to be profitable when trading under real market conditions.
Now let's talk about the EA's performance indicators. The Cleaner uses automatic lot calculation based on risk, so the EA opened a trade with a deposit of 2 lots. During the short period the EA spent in the market, it managed to generate a 5% profit with a maximum drawdown that didn't even reach half a percent.
Regarding the EA's profitability, I'd like to point out that four of the five positions closed profitably, meaning the winning percentage is a whopping 80 percent. The very high profit factor of 28.56 speaks to the relevance of the trading strategy embedded in the EA's algorithm.
In conclusion, I'm surprised to say that the expert advisor truly deserves more detailed and extended testing. The results are simply impressive, and you don't need a large deposit to trade it; even with just $10 in a cent account, you can test the advisor under real market conditions.
