BUNNY 2.0 – decent dynamics, despite its age!
Greetings, dear readers of the thread about expert advisor tests. Today, by tradition, I would like to share the thoughts and results of testing the BUNNY 2.0 expert. Let me remind you that the expert is, in the classical sense, a martingale, and with a rather risky approach to this method.
The second version of the Expert Advisor was created in 2011, so, to be honest, I did not have any illusions about the possible profitability of the Advisor in real combat conditions of our time, with quite strong unpredictable markets due to the collapse of oil prices.
However, the preliminary expert test we conducted during our review of the BUNNY 2.0 advisor showed good results, which you can see in the image below:
Based on such an impressive test in the strategy tester, which yielded a 150 percent profit over six months, our team decided to conduct a real test on a demo account. As you probably already know, we use a VPS server , so the expert advisor is available 24/7 without any intervention from us, even on weekends.
To make testing more accessible to the average user with a small deposit, a demo account with 5,000 rubles was opened, equivalent to $50 on a cent account. Testing was conducted on the EUR/USD currency pair on a five-minute time frame. The experiment itself began on August 30, 2015, and lasted a week, ending on September 7, 2015. We decided to leave all settings at their default values. You can see the results of testing the BUNNY 2.0 advisor in the image below:

As you can see, the preview in the strategy tester and the live chart are very different. However, the testing results were impressive. Over the course of a full week, the EA managed to close 59 trades, with six still open at the end.
Speaking of performance, I was extremely surprised by the 8 percent profit for the week. Considering we were using a risky martingale , the minimum lot size was 0.01, but the profit was really good. The drawdown for the week did not exceed 1.08 percent, indicating a high profit-to-drawdown ratio.
The profitability of the trading strategy embedded in the EA is confirmed by a very high profit factor of 7.52. To be honest, it's very rare for a Martingale-based EA to exceed 2, let alone 7. Also encouraging is the high percentage of profitable trades, which reached 61 percent. A closer look at the testing results reveals that the EA generated profitable positions primarily on long trades and was slightly weaker on short trades in the EUR/USD.
In conclusion, I'd like to say that the expert advisor performed well, and I'm also pleased that you only need $50 in a cent account to use BUNNY 2.0. Therefore, if you don't have a large capital, I recommend checking out the list of brokers that offer cent accounts and trying the advisor out.
