Do all martingales drain your account? OBOS DIVERGENCE will prove that wrong!
Greetings, dear users. Today we'll discuss the results of a real-time test of the OBOS DIVERGENCE . I previously conducted a detailed review of the expert advisor, in which I compared it to the SWB expert advisor.
If you've been following this thread closely, you might have noticed that the previous expert finished the tests quite well, so that gives me hope that OBOS DIVERGENCE won't fall off the track either.
You can find information about the advisor by following this link. The expert settings used for testing are located at the end of the same article.
So, the expert advisor's test began on May 27, 2015, and lasted exactly two weeks. The last trade it closed was on June 10, 2015. To conduct the experiment, I decided to open a demo account with $5,000 in it. This was done to simulate a typical beginner who has $50 in a cent account.
I was interested in how the expert advisor would perform under insufficient deposit conditions. The currency pair tested was EUR/USD. The trading was done on a five-minute chart. Since we had a dedicated server for testing, the expert advisor was in the market 24/7. The results of the two-week test in real time are shown in the image below:

As you can see, the testing results are impressive. The EA managed to close 193 positions in two weeks. Most importantly, the winning percentage of all trades was 75%. This means that the EA almost always closed in profit, without averaging. Another important indicator is the EA's profit, which amounted to 7.68% of the deposit. The maximum drawdown did not even reach 1%.
I believe the expert advisor passed the test with confidence and can be used safely on a cent account. Although the test was conducted with a simulated $50 deposit, I personally recommend a deposit of at least $100 on a cent account . This is because the expert advisor uses a radical martingale, multiplying a losing position several times! Thank you for your attention, and happy testing!
