Growth Bot
The Growth Bot advisor is one of the veterans in the field of automated trading on the Forex market, given that
the robot's creation date dates back to 2010.
Unlike other similar robots, this development features six-year monitoring, which shows the history of the advisor's ups and downs on a real account.
The peak of the Growth Bot advisor's popularity was the period from 2010 to 2013, when the balance curve grew at such a rate that all fans of automated trading showed interest in it.
However, starting in 2014, a bad streak began, and the advisor rapidly ate up the profits earned over the course of three years. Many online resources have already written off Growth Bot and relegated it to the category of so-called "money-sinkers.".
Installing the advisor
market volatility to search for signals . To launch the Expert Advisor in the MT4 trading terminal, all components must be pre-installed.
To do this, enter the terminal data directory via the file menu and place the library files in the Libraries folder, the advisor in the expert folder, and the indicators in the indicators folder.
The next step is to update the installed components of the Expert Advisor. To do this, go to the terminal's "Navigator" panel and click "Update." After installing the Expert Advisor, drag it onto the EUR/USD or GBP/USD chart with a 15-minute timeframe.

Expert settings
The Growth Bot developers have limited the range of settings, making the EA quite difficult to optimize. In the Lot Size field, specify the lot size the EA will use to open orders. It's worth noting that the Growth Bot can hold up to five trades open simultaneously, so choose a value based on your capital.
The Fast, Slow, and Base Volatility Facto parameters indicate the volatility value that the expert uses to determine the market trend.
The Profit Target line specifies the profit percentage for a single trade, and the Stop Loss line specifies the loss percentage for a single trade. You can also enable trailing in the Use Wave Trailing line. The TrailProfitRisk line specifies the trailing value as a percentage of the profit.
In the Re-Invest Capital line, you can enable reinvestment, which means that when your capital increases, the advisor will automatically increase the lot .
Testing the advisor on history
To objectively determine whether an expert advisor is currently capable of generating profit, it must be tested historically in a strategy tester and the necessary conclusions drawn based on the data obtained.
We'll conduct the first test of the Expert Advisor on the EUR/USD currency pair on a 15-minute chart. We chose the most relevant testing period, namely, from January 1, 2015, to March 10, 2016. Since the Expert Advisor doesn't average out, we used $300 for the test deposit, which is the amount most often used by beginners when getting acquainted with the exchange. Test results:

Over this period, the expert advisor's profit amounted to 100 percent of the deposit, with a maximum drawdown of 31 percent. Over this long period, the advisor executed 625 trades, with a profitability rate of 35 percent. However, thanks to a sound approach to capital management, the results are clear.
The second test was conducted over the same period and under the same conditions as the previous version, but on the GBP/USD currency pair. Test results:

As a result of both tests, we can observe rapid growth and sharp declines, which tells us about possible bad periods for the expert advisor to work.
Overall, Growth Bot can generate a stable income with relatively low risks in the long term. However, ending a month with a loss is normal, not unusual. It's also worth emphasizing that Growth Bot can handle small deposits.
