The Indo Run advisor is a fully automatic expert whose work does not need to be interfered with. The advisor works with limit pending orders, in which the stop and profit are clearly stated.
The expert itself was developed back in 2012 and was repeatedly discussed on various forums. Initially, the robot was designed to work on the euro/dollar and pound/dollar currency pairs, but after a detailed analysis it turned out that the expert is a typical averager, so you can reconfigure the advisor for any currency pair.
The working time frame also does not matter, but it is better to work on M15. To work with the expert, it must be installed in the Meta Trader 4 trading platform.
To do this, download the archive with the advisor at the end of the article. Launch your trading terminal, open the file menu and launch the data directory. Copy the advisor and place it in the expert folder. Restart the trading terminal. After restarting, the expert will appear in the list, so to work in real time, drag it onto the chart of the currency pair and allow trading. A settings window will appear in front of you, which we will discuss below.
The author of the expert Indo Run ver contains so many settings and various filters that it seems that even the devil would break his leg here. But enough of the lyrics, and let’s go through the main ones. In the settings there is a filter for the adviser's work by day. To do this, around a certain day (they are written in the settings in English), you can either prohibit work or allow it.
By default, the settings allow trading from Monday to Friday, but the superstitious can use this filter and disable, for example, work on Friday. You can also enable a filter by trading sessions in the settings. To do this, enable true in the Session Filter line.
The advisor has a built-in news filter, which is connected directly to the news calendar. To enable a news filter, click true next to the Avoid News line.
In addition, you can change the news filter by importance and trading instruments. If you wish, you can disable or enable martingale. To do this, include true or false in the Martingale line. The advisor has a filter for standard indicators RSI, Momentum, Moving Average , CCI. Opposite their names, you can turn them on or off, as well as change the trading periods of indicators in blocks.
The main settings are revealed, and all the rest are intuitive, since they are standard in each advisor. We decided to conduct the first test of the expert on the euro/dollar currency pair on a five-minute time frame . The testing period is from January 1, 2015 to June 1, 2015. Despite the old age of the Expert Advisor, it remains a profitable tool in the hands of a trader. Of course, the settings need to be optimized, since according to the test results they are clearly outdated. I also cannot help but note the rich set of tools that can be used to cut off false positions. In general, the expert has not lost its relevance, so I recommend it for testing on a cent account .
