Smart Advisor
The Smart trading expert is a unique scalper who uses a unique trend strategy to enter a position. The essence of the strategy is that the indicator, which is built into the expert, draws a certain range, to break through which the advisor opens orders.
The currency pair on which the euro/dollar advisor works.
The robot is designed to trade on a fifteen-minute Forex chart. To start, the robot advisor must be installed in the Meta Trader4 trading terminal.
To do this, download the archive with the Smart advisor at the end of the article. In a running terminal, go to the file tab and open the data directory. Place the downloaded indicator in the expert folder and restart the terminal. After turning on the terminal, the expert will appear in the list of advisors. In order to start trading, move the expert to the euro/dollar currency pair with a fifteen-minute chart and allow trading.
The advisor's settings are quite varied. For example, the Divergence parameter is responsible for turning on and off trading signals from the divergence of the built-in indicator. For those who are not in the know, divergence is the discrepancy between indicator readings and the real price. For example, if the price has formed a new peak, and the MACD indicator shows that there is no peak and it is smaller than the previous one, then this is a signal for a trend reversal. By default, Divergence is enabled.
The ParSet line means the indicator parameter based on which the position is entered. Attention, in the archive with the advisor you will receive unique settings in which this parameter has already been changed. The Delta parameter is also a parameter of the built-in indicator. Since the advisor uses a trend scalping strategy, the robot does not use such a dangerous money management method as Martingale.
In the Stoploss settings, you can set a stop order in points, and in the Takeprofit line set the possible profit. The advisor also provides for the calculation of the initial lot depending on the risk percentage of the deposit. To do this, in the Risk line, put the risk percentage per position. The TrailingStop parameter is responsible for the movement of order stops towards profit ( trailing stop ).
There is a myth among traders who use experts in their trading that advisors on Mondays and Fridays most often lose their accounts.
For the superstitious, the EA has a function to turn off the EA on Mondays. To do this, in the TradeMonday line, switch from True to False. I decided to conduct the first test of the Smart Advisor with default settings on the euro/dollar currency pair on a fifteen-minute chart. The period was selected from 01/01/2015 to 05/14/2015. The test result is shown in the picture:
Although the author of the advisor claims that the robot only works on the euro/dollar pair, I decided to conduct another test on the pound/dollar pair. the test period and time frame the same. You can see the result in the picture below:
Of course, the profit of advisors leaves much to be desired, but note that it is stable. I was also very pleased that the advisor works with clearly defined risks, so you cannot lose everything at once, as happens, for example, when trading with Ilan . As risks increase, trading efficiency can improve.
The advisor is trustworthy, but before working, I recommend testing it on a cent account with brokers Roboforex or Aforex .
Thank you for your attention, profits.
